I recently bought a 3D printer after seeing the excellent results that can be achieved by the guys over at the Budget Model Railways Youtube channel. I have to say I’m quite impressed by the definition the Creality Ender 3 can achieve.
The most difficult part of 3D printing is actually building the printer itself, which only comes semi-assembled, with a lot of nuts and bolts still to put into place. But after a couple of hours I had a fully working printer.
First print was this OO9 scale 4-wheel coach body. I think you’ll agree it’s prettty good. And I wouldn’t have to print that many of them to fully recover the £200 I spent on the printer!
